I cant seem to find the answer but does anyone know which aftermarker headliners and sun visor color is correct for the 82 pace car? I need to replace mine. I see hawksmotor sports has a navy blue and that seems the most accurate. Unless someone can tell me otherwise where to get the correct color blue.

I got my headliner through Rock Auto. I think I got Navy blue... I'll have to look. These cars have so many different colors inside that nothing really matches. I used a plastic adhesion promoter and Krylon Dark Blue spraypaint for the plastic pieces. The seat covers aren't 100% accurate either. The pattern on the blue cloth is not the same. I had the Z28 put back on the driver's headrest too..

Do a search for this on the History forum. A member found a paint shop in Pennsylvania that custom mixed the blue for him. I heard it was an exact match. I called the company myself about a year ago and they still have the color available, but you need to provide them the details from the thread.

I found the post that discussed the details on the blue paint. It wasn't defined in the thread. The company is BAPS and the paint code should be in their computer. It was originally requested by a Randy back in 2015 or 2016. They should be able to locate it.

 

Next time I go to where my car is I'll take some pics and look at my can of paint.
