Fresh air vent replacement?

Hey guys, new to the forum so hopefully this Is the right spot for this question. I've got a water leak coming through my fresh air vent on the drivers side. The "Flange" or whatever one would call it is broken and so the gaskets no longer sealing so anytime it rains or I wash the car I've got a big puddle in the car. My question is where does one buy a new fresh air vent? I've searched everywhere and I've only managed to find one on ebay but unfortunately it's the passenger side vent and I'm not sure if this will fit. Any advice here is much appreciated as I'm out of options it seems. If needed I can post a pic or 2 to make things easier.

New, probably nowhere unfortunately. Not really a high failure rate part. Best bet is to find a good original and/or replace/make a new seal.

I've come to find this part is nearly impossible to find. Luckily I found a part out car on ebay and was able to pick it up at a reasonable price! Good luck to anyone else with this issue 😂

Re: Fresh air vent replacement?

As far as I know, these fresh air vents are only present on cars without A/C. That makes it even more rare and hard to find. Your best bet would be to repair your vent with a plastic welder and cut a new seal for it.

Re: Fresh air vent replacement?

Are you sure it's the vent and not a rust/rot hole in the cowl ???
