Nice cracked dash pad repair / video
I follow this guy on youtube SprayWayCustoms that does autobody and candy paint. Most of his videos are not thirdgen stuff, but can be applied to our cars. He has a thridgen camaro that is going candy green. Not really my color, but he does a good job with the body work and laying down the candy.
Here is a video he just done on repairing a cracked thirdgen dash. A satin / semi-gloss black could be used instead of the candy/gloss or even raptor liner. He also does custom speaker grills along with vent covers on this dash pad.
Oh yeah, he does custom speaker boxes and some of the dash repair tricks could be applied for many different projects.
Just thought I would share.

Yeah the shiny clear would reflect quite a bit. I would either use a flat or satin clear. Maybe even do a texture spray with trim black to match the factory look.
But the basic repair ended up very nice. Plus the change up on the speaker grill is nice.
