Replacement Dash Pad

A while back someone posted a link to a site that sold Plastic/Fiberglass replacement dash pads. Anyone out there have the link.

During the last few days here in Florida the temps got down below freezing and my dash pad now has about six cracks right down the middle, front to back, in the dash pad. I guess the extreme heat to excessive cold took its toll. Hate to got to j-yard and get one that has the same amount of years as mine, and end up with the same cracking prob. I also do not want to spend a whole lot of money. Any suggestions, or sources would be welcome.

I got this one from Coverlay Manufacturing . The dash has held up very well. The texture is the same plastic, but the speaker holes are a little different.

Can you tell it is a plastic cover? I checked www.justdashes.com , and they want $450 for a restored dash, with exchange. I only have one two inch crack, so I hate to spend a third of what I paid for the car on a dash.

our dashes are flat, like a big airplaine wing. very easy to recover with a nice peice of black vinyl. i'm just finishing this up on my car's dash, and cost only $25 cdn for enough vinyl to do the dash, and center console.

i'm heading home friday & will be finishing the job. hope to have pics up by saturday.

You cannot tell it is a cover. The fit is good and just slips on top of the current dash. It is just slighty wavy in some sections where I could have used more silicone sealer.

Do you have any pics? I'd be especially interrested in seeing how you get the speaker grills to look good.

Here is a quick picture. It is kind of wet outside, so the picture didn't turn out too well. I can try to shoot some more once the weather breaks, if you want.

Oh yeah, those are the holes I am talking about. They don't look like stock, but that really doesn't bother me, however, for a camaro perfectionist, those holes would look out of place.
