Tilt Steering Pins

Dudes,
I haven't been able to find anyone with a solution to rounding out the holes that hold the steering column's tilt contraption in place. I'm talking about the 2 pins that go in level on the left and right side of the steering column. The pins themselves are strong and in good condition, but the tilt steering unit is made of a softer (lead-like) material and like many other Camaros, someone probably used the steering wheel as a handle bar to get out of the car and the left pin's set hole is warped like an oval. It causes play in the steering wheel to the up/down left.
I don't notice it when I drive, but it's failed inspection and I can't get it to pass. Even used ones come with disclaimers that they wobble. Has anyone ever successfully FIXED one of these?
