Anybody know if anyone makes reproduction sill plates for -82 models or if they are the same for all years -82-92 ?
My sill plates have pieces broken off and I have seen a few on ebay, but they are grey whilst the indy 500 are blue, same as interior.

second best would be some custom sill plates.....

 

'82 are unique and there are no reproductions that I know of. It was the only year of 3rd gen without a belt retractor on the floor. Guys with 4th gen seat belt swap want these '82 sill plates too, so they're rare and in high demand.... $$$.

I found a set at a junkyard and repaired cracks with flexible bumper repair epoxy, and then painted to match. Got all my supplies at a local industrial paint store in my town. They gave me a book of GM interior colors, I pointed at the right one, and they put it in a spray can for me. Also got the primer and epoxy at same store. I know NOTHING about repairing or painting plastic and it turned out nice and paint has held for years now.
