I need dark blue door sills for 82-84

I have been trying to locate some 82-84 door sill covers in Dark Blue for an 82 Pace Car. They need to be in mint condition (show car). If you know where I can get some, please help. These are all I need to have an undamaged car!!!

well I know I have a door sill, but unfornatly it's not "mint" .. I know how hard it is to locate parts.. I'm still trying to locate replacements for my Beechwood interior.. I'm sure you'll have some better luck with the color you looking for..

There is an '84 Berlinetta in a local U-pull It that has a blue interior with the blue sills. I just pulled the power seat out of it yesterday. Is that the same color? I can get them cheap for you, and maybe some other parts if you want them. Good used, but not perfect. Let me know soon if you want them.

BTW it has the complete digital dash still in it, would that be worth pulling and selling? The side pods show wear, and the radio and is missing.

Actually 82 door sills are unique to 82 only. 83-up had the retractors on the floor and use the same door sills. Good luck finding a set. I ran into a decent set in black a couple of years ago, and a guy was looking for a set, but he didn't want to pay the price I was asking. They were still in the car when the yard crushed it. Actually now that I think about it, the local yard just crushed a 82 Camaro with charcoal interior a week or two ago...

All 82 fbodies lack the seat belt retractors on the door sill. The seat belts, and door sills are unique to 82. 83-up have the retractors and use different door sills. The 82 door sills have an oval slot that the belt goes thru then bolts to the floor, the 83-up door sills have a large notch cut to clear the retractors.

got any pics of the 82 sills ?

I have a 5 point harness and now I'm stuck with the ugly retractors just sitting there... so maybe the 82 would look better...

I know that '82 has a unique seat belt setup. I was talking about a different "door sill", or my understanding of it is inaccurate.. when I think of door sill, I think of the bottom of the door area where that "Body By Fisher" plate runs from front to back. That seems to be the same between my 82, 84, and 85. that's what I was asking about. Sorry for the mixup. GT

The 82 door sills look virtually the same as 83-92 except where there would normally be a huge notch and alignment tabs for the retractor cover there's a small oval hole for the metal anchor to slip thru before it bolts to the floor.
