Recently did a t-5 swap, couldn’t find a non-broken shift plate for a decent price, didn’t want to pay $150 for a new re-pop, so I decided to make my own!
I used my existed auto plate, removed all the guts, then used a scroll saw to extend the opening that was already there for the auto shifter.
Added a generic shift boot and some door-edge trim to clean it up. I’m happy with the results. All in all cost me about $20 in stuff and a little over an hour of time.
