Iroc weatherstripping

My roof rail is leaking where the stripping goes down by the trim pillar a. My car is a 1986 iroc ttop. The ttops do not leak at all so I don’t want to replace my ttop seals. Is it possible to buy a hardtop roof rail seal and cut the pieces off of it I need and glue them together so I don’t have to replace my ttop seals?

If you dont want to replace your t-top seals, you might be better off fixing what you have till you need the whole set. Gluing together sounds like a guaranty for leaks or fix it again later on.
