I purchased some door panel watersheilds from Ecklers a while back and just getting to install them, Question is one side is like a vinyl and the other is a brown paper, What side is attatched to the metal door? it was part number345201 if that helps at all, I am trying to get an answer from Ecklers also.

 

Back in the day only a pice of "paper" was installed against the door itself. I actually used 6 mil plastic instead of the paper.
Paper towards the door. Remember that any water has to be directed back inside of the door to drain.
