Seat Lean temp fix

I have the typical driver seat gangster lean on my 84 Z28. The seatback back moves freely forward but doesn't seem to be connected to the actual track that the recline lever utilizes. My recline lever itself works, but it doesn't actually move the seat. Right now I don't have budget to redo the interior or grab some 4th gen seats. Has anyone found a creative way to maybe jam the seat upright a little bit? Through the google machine I've found a similar situation in a 2002 post on this forum where a user posted a pic with a bolt/nut jam, but the picture was also 2002 and you really couldn't see anything. It looks like that user hasn't posted since 06. Open to ideas! I have already soaked the area with some PB but I feel like something is probably broken/disconnected inside.

Re: Seat Lean temp fix

The mechanism is pretty terrible, but you can sometimes get it working by removing it, cleaning it and lubing it
