Re: Cupholders

I actually like that as it almost looks as good if it could be stock and lines up perfectly. What key words did you have use when searching as I just find double din for radio/coin holder replacement that doesn’t have smooth exterior. How did you screw/bolt in? Did it already have bolt mounts on top and you just lined up and drilled holes to add nut?

Re: Cupholders

Saw a vid on YouTube a guy built one his turned out better. Mine i made from 1/8 MDF, superglue, hot glue, bed liner, and 4 small pan head bolts that i drilled through the top MDF and glued in.

Re: Cupholders

Thanks for the reply, I have found many videos and shorts on YouTube and most are to install into din cubby in dash of vehicles and the Camaro one has the right idea and location yet I think yours came out better with more of a stock look of how it should have come from the factory. I am going to search out built in cassette style at the salvage yards of vehicles I always pass by to see if they have the single din cup dual holders as I don’t need the coin tray option that’s universal on eBay and Amazon and going to attempt to fabricate one also. Thanks for showing your setup
