Re: 396 LT1 and T-56
Time to sell the engine/trans out of my Camaro and move onto other projects. Forgive me if I leave out some of the details, it's been quite a few years since I built this setup. Engine and transmission were both built at the same time and have at most 150 miles on each.
Engine
- '95 396 LT1
- Callies Dragonslayer crank and rods, 3.875" stroke, SRP forged -5cc pistons, .030" over
--Ring gaps set for nitrous
--Clevite bearings
- Advanced Induction 215cc Trickflow LT1 heads, check their website for specs, approx. 11.0:1 CR
- Advanced Induction ported LT1 intake to match heads
- BBK 58mm throttle body
- Full Comp Cams valvetrain including new lifters, pushrods, 1.6 rockers, timing chain
- GM 847 cam
- Fuel rails have -8AN fittings welded onto rear, fuel injectors are I think 40# Fords
- Canton fabricated valve covers
- All accessories included including B-body alternator rewound to 140A and converted to single wire
- Rebuilt Opti
- Electric waterpump
- Moroso fabricated oil pan and oil pump
Transmission
- '95 T56
- Basically completely remanufactured by Late Model Racecraft in Houston
- New countershaft and 4th gear
- Steel forks, bronze pads, all billet synchro keys
- All new bearings
- As close as you'll get to a G-Force T-56
- Includes B&M Pro 5.0 shifter and bellhousing
- I'll include the Spec Stage 3+ clutch disc/LT4 pressure plate that's in there but use at your own risk, I had issues with it and was getting ready to pull it out
Located in Gulfport, MS
I'm sure I'm forgetting some things so any questions just ask and I'll answer to the best of my recollection/knowledge.
Asking $2500 for all of it.
WILL NOT PART OUT. Prefer not to separate engine/trans. Can assist with delivery/shipping. Still in the car, will pull for a buyer.

None. Was built expecting 450rwhp, and the couple of runs I made against gen 5 Camaros say it's in the ballpark.
Will let you know.
