My swap project....

Heres some picks of the progress of my project. It's a 91 RS and the engine is from a 2002 corvette. The seller told me it had 4500 miles on it when i twas pulled from the wreck. I plan on going with the Drive by wire setup, and really want to put a 4th gen fuel tank in. Heres some picks.

When i got the motor it was missing all accesories except the the powersteering pump. I've been lucky enough to get just about all the parts that i needed off of ebay. Only thing holding me back now is the tranny. Right now i'll most likey be stuck paying 2k for a new or rebuilt one.
I guess its more of a restoration then just an engine swap.

We just pulled the subframe out and cleaned it up. I believe my dad cut out the notch for the A/C compressor( I'm at college) and has the engine and subframe bolted together. So thats our progress.

My goal is to have the car running by the end of summer. This doesn't include the body and interior work.
