ok what all do i need in the front,
power steering pump and resivior?
hub and dampener?
brackets?
ok and is the lt1 computer and wiring harness compatible with a 87 tpi distributor? if not then can you use Optie spark and the lt1 computer and harness on a gen 1 block.... is there a way to run opti spark? what all do i need, all be running a gen 1 block with lt1 heads and intake.... what all well i need? i know whats needs to be done to the intake and heads.... i just want to know how this is going to work....TXLT1 you said that the tpi brackets where moded to be used on lt1 heads do you got any of that info or pics? i dunno would i be better off with the lt1 brackets

Why??

No the PCM for an LT1 will not work with the TPI distributor, the blocks for the LT1 and 1st gen are the same, except for the timing chain cover where the waterpump shaft comes through, plus you would have to find some way to reverse flow the coolant, so why not just use the entire LT1?
