Car: 1998 Trans Am WS6

Engine: LS1

Transmission: M6

Caprice wiring harness and ECM

I am getting an LT1 out of a 94 Caprice with the harness and ECM, and all other things I need from the engine bay. I am just wondering if I should use the harness and ECM from the caprice, which also has a belt driven mechanical fan, or should i get the harness and ECM from a 93 speed density f-body?
