Carb Intake Manifold for LT1 EGR

Where can I get a carb'd intake manifold for a LT1 with EGR provisions?

Not one made with EGR, the only carb intake is made by GMPP and this was really designed for pre-emissions cars. But putting a carb on an LT1 is about like putting a carb on an LS1, it's not really worth it since you still have the computer controlling everything else, and you can tweak out the fuel curve better with the PCM

Well originaly what I had in mind is taking the Long Block and using TBI. The engine didn't come with the computer, harness, or the actualy LT1 intake assembly, but since no egr might have to take a different route. Thanks tho.

I was under the impression that putting a carb on an LT1 was like putting a carb on any SBC. The computer would not be used. The intake has a provision for a distributor, so the opti wouldn't be used.

Yes but LT1 heads have different mount positions for the intake manifold. So I basicaly was curious if they made a carb intake that had EGR specificaly for the LT1.

I am aware of the difference in mounting holes. You may have to use an external EGR like the one offered by Scoggin-Dickey for the Vortec/TPI lower.

Since it's technically illegal to put a carb on a street driven car that was fuel injected I think you would be hard pressed to find one that would retain something as silly as EGR. Although it's not technically illegal to put tbi on an lt1 I believe it should be. I'm contacting my congressman.
