lt-1 wiring harness identify???

supposedly, this engine is a 95 but on the harness and on the oilpan, i see what appears to be that oil change sensor in the side of the pan.

was't that a 96+ thing? any tips or tricks for me to differentiate what year this setup is? engine and/or harness????

also i have a 95 computer, if the harness is a 96 will it work on a 95 ecm?

the sesor on the side of the oil pan is the leval sensor. and my 95 has it so its not a 96 thing, i dont think a 95 harness will work with a 96, one is obd1 and the othere is obdII

My 94 also has that sensor. The engines and harnesses can be mixed and matched. The 96 will have a crank sensor that obd1 cars didn't have. I think the 96 also has 2 knock sensors. 96 will also have 2 extra O2 sensors. My casting numbers are behind the drivers side head before the transmission.
