swapping LT1 T56 with LS1 and T56....

ok i currently have my old 5.7 TPI in my car and i am finally doing the swap to the darkside and i was just wondering if i would come accross any problems using the same clutch pedal set that i got from a 4th gen LT1 F Bosy? i know i cannot use the same LT1 T56 without mods and plus i got an LS1 T56 so might as well use that one with the LSx im dropping in. im not too sure if i heard right about something being different with the pedals from the 93-97 and 98-02 T 56 F Bodies but for some reason i keep thinking about the master cylinder linkage to the clutch pedal being different? has anyone done this and kept their LT1 clutch pedal assembly or know of anything being different?
thanks

When I checked the clutch master cylinder for the LS1 is a different part number than the LT1 clutch cylinder. It may work, but I wouldn't take a chance on it.

I can get you a set of LS1 pedals if you need, I think that's what I ended up getting with my swap instead of the LT1 pedals, I'll double check and maybe we can work out a swap on 'em.

Yes the whole clutch linkage is completely different on the LS1's. They actually have a slave unit on the input shaft. You will need the newer master. The pedals are the same though.

I think you're wrong on the pedals shr00m, I think Mr_Dude1 put some pictures up of the differences of the LT1 and LS1 pedals and they were different.

Yeah I read that too. Seem's like he had a problem and found a solution, unfortunately not everyone seem's to have the same problem (or needs that solution).

Good excuse to get the adjustable MC, I suppose.

Where the master cylinder attaches to the clutch pedal is in a different place on the LS1 pedals, my clutch pedal is actually lower than my brake pedal which is wrong and they are LS1 pedals. Had I went with the 3rd gen pedals or the LT1 it would be right.
