Will Hedman 68460s work on an LT1?
I searched and couldn't find anything specific about the LT1. Will the Hedman 68460 long tubes work OK with the D port LT1? Will the ports be completely covered so they don't leak? I know I'll have to weld in the O2 fittings, but I don't need the AIR fittings. I've got the headers already, and at this point, I just want to get the LT1 in and running. I'll worry about making real power later when i'm not so broke. Thanks for the info.

I would get the d-port shorties and y-pipe that hedman makes, that's what I'm using and they work great. That way you don't really have to worry about ground clearance or making a custom tranny crossmember so they will clear.

I got some 92 hooker headers and the y-pipe that went with that, and it fits great as well. $150 at summit i do believe and then the ypipe was another $150 or $200.

Thanks for the info. I'll trake that into concideration. I plan on running true dual though so I won't need the y-pipe. It also would be convenient for me to have collectors that are already pointing back instead of down.
