Wiring help
Here are some pictures of the wiring harness from my 94 Vette LT1. I need help figuring out which one of these is the C100 and was hoping someone on here had used the Vette harness and engine and could help me out if the wiring would be the same as listed in LT1 wiring guides listed here.

Here's a couple more. I would like to dive into the wiring this weekend but I'm kindof lost right now. I know where to find the wires on my TA, just trying to figure out which wires of the LT1 go to them. I do have a chilton manual for the vette, but the diagram don't show me enough info.

The 2nd and 3rd one on the top row look like a lighting bulkhead connector, the two in the middle pictures are the 220 and 230 connector, the one in the first picture, 3rd post looks like the C100 connector, as for the other two, I bet they goto lights, or airbags or something that goes into that bulkhead connector. Did the 'vette engine harness not seperate from the rest of the harness in the car? That is what makes the F-body motors so much easier to put in. You may be better off finding an f-body harness and using it instead. The plugs on the PCM should be the same (but don't hold me to that).

Thanks for the help Klortho. I'm going to try and get better wiring diagrams for the corvette from a dealer or something and see if I can get this worked out. I'll post what I find for future swappers.

Well here's what I've found so far. I was able to get some wiring diagrams for the corvette engine. On the vette harness there are two red wires that go into the harness and end up on the alt. Then there is a fuse box with fuses for fuel pump, abs, 2 iginition fuses, rear defogger, and pcm. According to the wiring diagram i have, there is a wire that comes off the positive side of the battery and makes all these fuses hot all the time, as well as the wires to the alt. On the bulkhead connector from the vette harness there are two wires that are hot and are hooked to the ignition fuses. At this time I have these hooked to the red power wires in the c100 on the T/A. Also in the vette harness is a large purple wire that runs down to the starter. I hooked this wire to the purple wire in the c100. Of coure I hooked up the ground in the harness and with these hooked up the car will crank. So I'm getting closer.
Am i correct in assuming that the pcm is powered off of this fuse block that came with the vette harness? I have seen some referance to hooking up a power wire for this. There shouldn't be that much more needed to get this running should it? I have traced out most of the wiring on the old 305 harness and know what I need to put back for heater fan, w/s wipers and such, but I want to get this running before messing with that. I did notice that once i hooked those two power wires to the c100 that I had power back in the car and most lights(no foglights). This vette harness has made things a bit of a challange with it not being the same as the fbody. I see a power distribution wire from the c100, where is this being hooked up(this is switched right?) Anyone see anything I'm missing? I'm trying to save some money and do the wiring myself. Wiring is all that is left, everything else is ready, so hopefully I'll get to hear this thing start soon. I was great just to hear it crank!

I still think it would be easier to find an f-body harness, however I'll have to hunt around for my mitchells cd's and see if I can come up with something for you.

Thanks for the help, Klortho. As you might imagine, the price of this project is getting out of hand in my opinon, so I'm trying to make due with what I have already. I'm sure all the wires needed for this are there, just have to find them. I know a couple people that work in the parts dept at a local gm dealership. I'm going to ask them if there is any way to get the pinout information on the vette harness. The wiring diagrams I have are pretty good, but it takes forever to go through them and try to find which connectors they're at.
