oil pan? swap question

oil pan? swap question

whats the difference between the fbody 4th gen oil pan and the new ls2 oil pan? will it fit in a thirdgen as if it was a ls1?

f body pan only one gonna work easliy.

Axle/Gears: strange 12 bolt 3.73's
the difference its where the pick up is at for the oil pump. and also were the filter is at. fbody oil pan is pretty much the only smart way to go. haha. if your swapping pans make sure all your covers line up your they will leak.
