Going rate for LS1 long block?

Just curious what the going price is for a stock LS1 long block minus intake and electronics? Also, who offers these out there as a stock rebuilt replacement for LS1 cars, other than GM? Thanks.

You can goto Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market pick the car you want it to come out of and the area in which you reside and you'll see the going rate for a used unit.

jsut the long block alone is around 1000.... shortblocks are 5 to 700...

but the value jumps ALOT when you include everything to make it run... even though the jump is more then the cost to buy the parts to make it run... (hint)

Watch your mouth. I'm just trying to decide what to do with my LS1, ie make it a complete long block or make it a running LS1. Tool.

Oh, maybe I misunderstood....are you selling an LS1? It sounded as though you were buying one...if that's the case, sorry.
