NP mang, I just remembered seeing the pics on Hawks when I purchased em, so I did a direct link to save ya some time....and possibly myself, who knows I might need to print this thread out when I take my car to an exhaust shop.
Looking at the picture though, I wonder why kind of ground clearence these cars have, look at the driver's side header pipe going to the Y has the pipe going around the Trans member and going across under the torque arm, and the seems like it would be a bad place for a low spot, especially around speed bumps....dunno, I guess I'll tackle that when I get to it

as soon as my car is done I will get some pics, my spohn crossmember will have some minor surgery done to it for my exhaust to clear.

That's my car. And yes they had to trim the cross member to fit the exhaust. I wasn't happy about it, But it was clear there was no other way. My swap was done before the headers came out. Also it's a bit of a problem on speed bumps or steep driveways.

So you do have clearence problems, that sucks....maybe I'm gonna go with oval tubing...
Then again, I REALLY want the exaust to come out the sides right before the rear tires, doubt its possible though

no, its just a crossmember.
im running a torque arm that connects to a bracket i attached to the floorpan.. if you have a spohn crossmember already, and basic fab skills, it wouldnt be hard to adapt a copy of his mount to the drews crossmember, then re-enforce the crossmember...
or
make a bracket to attach to the floorpan, and connect the torque arm to it... this would be the route i would take.

I'm even more disapointed with the Spohn set up after today. I rolled the car out of the garage for the first time, and the right side hangs down so low it scraps the edge of the garage, looked like my car left blood cause of the red powdercoat on the concrete.
And if the exhaust is lower than that....holy hell, I'm gonna have to put monster truck springs in to get any ground clearance for daily driving.

Here are some pics of the crossmember. Oh, almost forgot. I ran into a problem mounting the 02 sensor on the passenger side. Couldnt get it to screw in. I ended up having to pull the header back off and found there was welding bead blocking the passage. Wasnt happy having to pull the header back off but atleast it was a simple fix. I would have thought quality control would be better from stainless works...........jt

Here's mine. They used a small section of the SLP y-pipe at the end. I wish it was mandrel bent, otherwise they did a great job.

I used a Drews Crossmember and made my own. Much cleaner fit than the Hawks unit going around the frame. I managed to make the Collector the lowest part. No installed pics yet as I have only completed mock up engine is back out now but heres the y pipe on the floor. Full 304 Stainless

I dont have exhaust yet so I've been looking at how people are doing this. Problem is, I've already hit the X-Member getting out of the garage, so I was wondering if your having ground clearence problems

I have almost a thousand miles on it. Yes, I do hit things like speed bumps, so I need to plan my routes in the parking lots carefully. regular driving has been fine so far.

Pics of my old setup (y-pipe, single catback) are in that link. I'm running the "drews double hump" T56 x-member. Its the only way to do it.
*Now I have the same SW Hawks LT's with the drews x-member, but I custom fabbed my own 2.5" all mandrel bent duals with an x-pipe, sweet thunder mufflers (old school chambered pipes) and tailpipes out the rear. I'll have to post pics and vids of it soon. I've got more ground clearance than a stock car...
The "drews" xmember is the hot ticket to any T56 swap with LT's and a nice y-pipe or duals
