How do I tune Using OBD-II

I have done the LS1/T56 swap and been driving the car for over a year now.....I'm looking into putting a single Turbo on the. I am wondering now, how I will tune the ECM if I dont have it hooked up to a OBD style connector..All interior and underdash wiring is from my 92 305...

Does anyone have any info or threads on how I would go about doing this?

You wire in an OBDII connector, it's not hard at all. Find a wrecked Camaro or Trans Am, pull the connector, tan is the serial data wire, you will need a 12v constant power source, and two grounds. Then use a program such as HPTuners or LS1edit, but LS1edit has to have the VIN of the car for it to work right.

I wired in my OBDII Data Link Connector (DLC) and its not that hard at all. You need to make sure you get the DLC and the Splice Pack. Several components use the Class 2 Serial Data... The DLC and the Splice pack will all just wire into connectors C230 and C220 so its easy wiring... its just running the wires where you want them.

Do you have any detailed instructions on what connections need to be made, and how to make the Check Engine Light work with the new computer and not the old one?

J - LT Blue - ABS/TCS Class 2 Serial DAta (Not Used by you)
K - Not Used
L - Grey - IP Class 2 Serial Data (To Insterment Panel, for tach, fuel level, ect)
M - Not Used

Be ready to run all these wires into the car to wherever you want the Data Link connector.
When I cut out all the things I didnt need from the old 91 ECM and TBI it left me a bunch of
left over wires that go outside the car in that grey and black thingy thats filled with the
gell to seal the car and the wires from the elements right under your passenger kick panel.
You know the one I mean. I carefully picked through it and sorted it to use for this
purpose. Feel free to do it however you would like.

Ok, so what you need to do first is get the PCM C2 Serial Data from LS1 Connector C230.
The pin is K - DK Green. You run this wire into the SP200 pin C - DK Green.

C230 K - DK GRN-> SP200 C

From the SP200 you need pin G - Purple to go into the DLC under pin 2 - Purple

SP200 G - PPL-> DLC 2

The grounds on the DLC pins 4 and 5 I just pulled from the slew of wires left over from
where the 91 dash harness runs outside the car, like I mentioned before. So feel free to
do this however you would like.

This leaves us with DLC pin 16 - Orange. This pin is obviously directly connected to
your battery and gets power at all times. Feel free to splice this in wherever you would
like. When I did mine, again I tied it into the 91 dash harness.

As for the rest of the wires with the splice pack(SP200). You will never need pin E or J,
but you could use L for going to your 99+ gauges if you do that swap.

As for your SES light. You need Connector C230 again and the pin is B - Brown w/ White.
That wire needs to go to Connector C207 on your 92 under dash harness. C207 has a black
connector that connects to a white one. You want to connect it to the white half so that it goes through the black half, pin C - Brown w/ White and up to your gauges and your SES light will then work.

C230 B - BRN/WHT -> C207 C

That should about do it. Any more questions feel free to ask.
