92 vette 6speed same as 4th gen?

I have a wrecked up 92vette w/6speed. I want to know if it mount up to the 94 lt1 motor thats going in my 91rs? I'm sure it will mount up however what I want to know is it the same as the one used in the 4th gen? If so what driveshaft do I use?..Thanks

I can use the auto in the 94 but the 6sp would be ole so--sweet...

The Vette ZF is physically larger than the T56, so you would have clearance issues with the floor. It also is more costly to rebuild, and parts aren't as common. Stock for stock, strength is about the same, but upgrades aren't as common. You can make it work, it's just not as "bolt in" at a T56.

Thanks for the info... I think I'll just mount up the auto from the 4th gen and I'll sell the 6sp off on ebay, after I get it pulled out. Take Care, Kris
