How did you guys wire your fans? im running my 3rd gen radiator and fan. Is there any way to wire it into the LS1 system so that the ECU controls it like it would normally?


Radiator questions-
Also how did you run your heater hoses?
What did you do with the TB coolant hose?
What did you do about the hole coming off the radiator right under the radiator cap(not the evap nozzle the one under it)?

OK heres a little schematic for your fan curcuit using the existing relay and its how I wired mine. As you can see all the ECU does is gound the relay, just like the a/c control switch does. where it shows a 20A fuse a 10A should be fine since thats what the '02 uses.
As for the other stuff, I'll have to go look and take some pics. Hope this little bit helps

 

We used a stock 02 fusebox and wired our electric fans to that.
Kinda hard to see but it's where the battery used to be on the passenger side.
