Here's a couple of it in the car, almost done! just need a T-56 tranny and a few odd ball things and it'll be back on the road

Looks good, are you installing the T56 as well? I'm in the middle of my swap right now. Good luck.

Yep, went from a automatic to T-56. This is just a weekend cruise and play car so I wanted to have a manual to row through the gears with. My 98 is a automatic too so that's one of the main reasons I decided to go ahead and convert the 87 over. Good luck on your swap as well!

what stut tower brace is that, it looks like the tbi edelbrock. I could not get it to clear the alt, or the throttlebody?

It's the Edelbrock TBI 3 point, I trimmed it a little over the altenator since I was having the same problem. It didn't like much to clear so with a little grinding and welding a new piece angled over the altenator it fits great. Other than that I didn't have any other clearance issues with it. BTW, looking at it from the front you can't even tell the brace was modified.

looks good, I sent mine back and went with the edelbrock tpi one. It cleared everything but I had to cut alittle out of the hood under structure.
