My LS1 swap....

What if you had an '89 Camaro convertible, a bunch of money , and a low mileage '99 LS1/T56 combo ? You might do what I did. Rather than posting another long thread here , I'll give you a link to the site I own to keep things simple. I kinda went a little nuts on this project but it has turned out really nice so far. Before you click on this link , however , be warned: LOTS of hi res. pics so dialup is not going to like it! I also have detailed quite a bit on how to do the swap and what you'll need. Enjoy!

How to spend a lot of money and restomod a 3rdgen. - Club Hi Octane

Nice work man! I feel your pain on doing the underside of the car. I did that same thing (minus POR) a couple years ago. You have some serious dolla's wrapped up into that conversion, it's very nice!

Thanks for the props! And your IROC looks killer! I'm on vacation this week and I'm going to work on the car and that's pretty much all I'm going to do. I'll post pics as progress is made and there's just about every goody you can think in those boxes in the garage. There's a lot of good info here on thirdgen.org and it's been a very valuable source along with LS1tech. Anyways , please feel free to visit the thread often as there will be something new there on a daily basis. If you've got ideas you'd like to share, fire away.

Is it ok if I say that you are now my hero?
I'd love to do my that way, but I don't have the money. And... I'd be afraid to drive it. lol Mind if I send you some PMs when I get my swap underway?
