car doesnt run right!!!! think i fired my PCM
ok well i checked all my wires on the opti and there are all wired right,i start the car you have to keep it at 3000 rpms to get it to still runnig, let off it and it just feels like a huge cam, shakes and what not, well i shut it off hook on my data loging and it cant find the pcm at all, but the car still runs im have no idea what to do, does any one have a pcm for a 94 z28 camaro with a4 and 3.23 gears? im guessing the pcm fried becuz i could data log it before, and i tryed to read the pcm but it couldnt read the pcm and stop, and i havent start it since that till after i was done with my tune up, so like i said im guessing its fired
If you think all your wiring is correct and everything else is hooked up right, maybe contact madz28.com or pcm4less.com. They will probably have you send it in to repair(socket) or you may have to buy a new/used one.
Usually, these PCMs go bad only if you program them without doing a read first.

not the pcm, i jsut found out, im now guessing its TPS or IAC, the car runs above 1500rpms just fine, it wont stay runnig below 1000 inless you give it gas, but when its warm i can let off and it well idle but it sounds choppy
and runs hard, would eiether the IAC or TPS mess the computer up?

Here is how to test the IAC sensor: http://shbox.com/1/iac2.jpg
Check the wiring going to the computer again, especially the wire for serial data. The sensors won't make the computer unable to make a datalog or read.
