My painless harness came with a fuel pump relay connector,which is diffrent from the 4th gen,does anyone know which wires would match up in my 86 camaro to my 95 painless harness fuel relay connector. Also if anybody is using the painless harness, which wire did you hook to the check engine light

 

On my 93 Painless wiring harness it only had a fuel pump wire with no connector, I just had to solder it into one of the stock fuel pump wires. The painless I have has its own check engine light that did not need to be hooked up or rewired, I just had to mount it so Im not sure what to tell you about that.

 

If u remember, what wire did you hook to your harness power coil wire

 

I will look tomorrow but I know for sure that I used my factory coil wire as one of my 12v power sources. I'll try and remember to get under the dash tomorrow and see which wires I used off of the fuse block.

 

ok.See I have finished this project like 100% but my harness is not coming on, that is the only thing holding me back ! O would appreciate it if you would take a look @ your wires so I can run mines in the same places and hopefully get some final progress.Your check engine light should have 2 black wires coming from the light itself,these are 12 volt power wires, check on your location/color of your cars coil power wire, and let me know where your ground for the harness is @, thanks, happy holidays
