Alternator wire on LSx swap

Engine: LS1

Transmission: T56

Axle/Gears: 4.10's

Alternator wire on LSx swap

I have a Alternator wire on my lsx wiring harness that attaches to the Alt. screw were the power wire from the battery connects. So my question is do I just hook up the 3rd gen power wire (from battery) and the one on my harness together?

The one big red lead from the alt goes to the + on the battery yes
