I didn't paint the engine bay becuase the car is going to get restored in a year or two.

 

Good luck! I remember when I started my LT1 for the first time. Now I drive it every day.

 

I tapped mine into the coolant line but drilling and tapping the top of the water pump and threading in a small nipple seems to be the most common way to go.

Success! I started it on Friday! First try! Sound really good. Open long tubes 230/224 111 LSA
