Iron Block versions of the Gen III

Has anyone done a swap with one of the 6.0 L iron blocks found in the chevy trucks and SUVs starting in 99 that are out there. I am planning to go all out with my swap and build up. I want a block that I can mod the hell out of and then add a forced induction system in the future, Is the a decent aftermarket for this version of the LS1.

Do some reading on the 4th gen boards for better info but parts are available for what you want to do.

 in the process of. casper went 6.86 on a stock filled truck block (1800ish hp) so i think ull be fine. although, the ls1 block has gone 1000+ with no issues wht so ever.

Talk to xtremeirocz, he has a 408 ironblock and runs 10s in the quarter mile. He knows his stuff, as he had a big hand in building my car
