LS1 EGR Removal?

LS1 EGR Removal?

Im looking at a 98 Ls1 for my 85, could I just remove the EGR? I ask because I would like to get a FAST intake and from what I can tell it doesnt use an EGR, plus its just more more thing out of the way, any imput would be great

yeah you can remove it but you will need a tune afterwards to remove some ses codes. My fast 90 came with a provision that is plugged. If i wanted to run egr id just knock that stamp out and put it back. but i dont run egr so its not a big deal
