Looking into boosting my swap next year - opinions?

Hey Everyone.

Im going in for surgery in july, 5 days in the hospital, and a 6 month recovery. Meaning if i finish my swap by the end of the month ill have a month or so to drive my car.

But, i figured it would be a cool project for me to boost my iroc while im out for surgery seeing ill have nothing better to do.

Heres the plan:
Single, front mount turbo
Intercooler mounted behind grill
4" Downpipe w/ Cat in oem location, dump before axle
550 - 600rwhp (high 10's)
Plan would be to build a system to support 900+hp, but limit turbo/wastegate/fuel system/boost psi for around 550 - 600hp
Would be run on the street at 5 - 6psi for 400 - 450rwhp, then crank boost to 12 - 14 for track days.

Heres the spec's:

Fuel System:
Professional Products billet fuel rails (already have these)
Mototron 60lb injectors
Racetronix 255lph Pump + Hotwire kit
Snow Performance Meth injection kit

Engine work:
LS6 or LS1 heads
ARP Rod bolts
ARP Head stud's
LS2 Timing chain
Ported oil pump
LS6 Valve springs
Hardened pushrods
LS6 or LS1 Cam

Turbo:
MP T-70

Hot parts:
Custom Fabricated headers (By me)
Custom fabricated crossover to mount turbo infront of motor
4" Downpipe to run beside passenger side of motor under header (header designed to have room under it for this pipe)
Single waste gate with separate wastegate dump

Coldparts:
Aluminum 3" Tubing
Silicone connections
Intercooler mounted behind grill (bumper modified for fitting)
Air filter mounted below batterytray, but above plastic water sheild to allowe for cool air intake.

Misc:
Wideband Oxygen sensor
Fuel pressure guage
Boost pressure guage

The driveline would be a big part. Ive been thinking a 4L80e would be best then to watch for a 9"/S60 or 12bolt to come up on LS1tech, if not just go for a S60.

The turbo parts would run below $4k if i fabricate all my own hot & cold parts, then i also would have swap manifolds, y and catback to sell to generate some funds, along with an intake and other stock parts id take off.

What do you guys think?
Am i way off on this?

Thanks!

other thing i wanted to ask,

Would it be eaiser/cheaper for me to just build a tough shortblock and water/meth inject & spray a 250 shot at it?

Thanks guys!

How about a centri huffer instead? With your fab skills and some time I think you would come out ahead in terms of coin spent. I've seen compressors alone go for the $1500 range say a DISC or thereabouts and that would easilly support you power goals with a lot less work. All you need to do is make brackets to bolt it up and pipe it in and the meth still applies if you want to do so. Hope the surgery goes well man. Best regards
