I just purchased a 94 LT1 out of a camaro w/o a harness or ecm. I want to know if a harness and computer out of a caprice/ impala would work. I know the ecm mounts differently, but are the sensors the same? I tried searching but it was down at the time.

All the sensors should be the same if its from a 94 except the impala/caprice harness might want 2 knock sensors instead of one. The harness will be slightly different but it would work.

A 96-97 harness and computer won't work on a 94 setup just throwing it on there but it could be made to work.

If you have a 4L60E keep in mind a 94 4l60e is not interchangeable with any other 4L60E. 95-97 4L60E's are interchangeable with each other or are the same.

Hopefully some impala/caprice LT1 swap experts will chime in with more information.
