LT1 drive gear/stub shaft

On the '93-early '94 LT1s, I've read that the sizes of the stub shaft are different than late '94s and up. Can a latter style ('94 and up) shaft and gear fit into a '93 LT1 Block so that I can use the post '94 distributor setup?

The cam and the timing cover are different, so you would need to swap those to move over the the later style...

Check this out for doing the swap.

Re: LT1 drive gear/stub shaft

Actually, the '94 is still a splined non-vented opti, you will need to go with the '95.
