LT-1 Transplant out of a B-Body

Has anyone swapped an LT-1 out of a B-body? I am getting the full set up including accessories harness and ecm from a 1996 buick road master. I would like to bring it up to par at least with the corvette LT-1, or even go ahead an do the LT-4 cam (not sure if the LT-4 Hot cam is within the budget to complete the swap). I have a set of the crane gold roller rockers (1.6:1). Is the OBD II actually better or is it going to create issues. Any suggestions on vendors for reprogramming?

I am open to suggestions from experience or knowledge on which direction to go to. All input will be greatly appraiciated.
