lt1 o2 sensors

what should i do about hooking up the o2 sensors on my 86 z28 that ive got an lt1 in? Just put them into the y pipe?

Most LT1's require two O2 sensors. Most thirdgen headers only have a location for one o2. For the side that doesn't have a place for an O2, you have drill out a hole and weld in an O2 bung. You have to have the exhaust off to do this and the best location is the header/manifold.

Summit racing sells some. I went with the Holley one but the Summit Stainless steel might be a better choice.
