Hidden ram air on lsx swapped camaro.....
I'm in the process of coming up with ideas for a ram air setup for my camaro. Has any one done this? I'm thinking about utilizing the two holes in the front of the camaro nose.. Any ideas or suggestions please post. I also have to move my maf at least 10-14 inches from the throttlebody so it can't split till after that. I want dual ram air. something like a cone on each hole or actually right above the holes. Similar to how the tpi works but closer to the holes and more airflow...

Made this for my car using the stock airbox. The scoops are right at the grill openings.

one thing about this piece is the fact that the top piece is highly restrictive.. I wonder how hard it would be to reshape it tho.... Might be a viable option..also the part the tube connects to needs to be 4".. The way you have this is it blocking the radiator from getting air from the grille? if so then I would have to change that up because it would cause the engine to run hot. That's the only source of air.

I've had it on the car for much more than a year and never have a cooling problem. The scoops aren't right in front of the grille blocking all the air, they come down far enough to get cool air. I'm running that on a V6 so that airbox isn't that restrictive at all for me.
I do know that there is a 4th gen setup that puts 2 cone filters down in front of the radiator. I forget what its called though.
