4th gen dash question.

Ok, here it is, ive got an 84 trans am with an ls1/t56 swap done to it, its got some nice autometer in dash gauges now, but i was considering swapping in a 4th gen dash. my question is, will any 4th gen dash work? or does it have to be a v8 dash? or does it have to be a v8 ls1 dash? also does are there any full write ups on how to completely do this? I found a 94 trans am dash for $75 just wondering if i should jump on it or wait on something else.

Re: 4th gen dash question.

its been covered plenty of times. if you do a search just type in "4th gen dash" and youll get penty of info on them. yes you should jump on that dash as long as its a v8 dash and its in good shape. even if you decide not to do it, just sell it somewhere and you can get a lot of money for it. so its a profit either way!
