89 IROC LS1 Swap

I understand this is a popular subject and opening another thread about it may be pointless but I have a few questions that arent exactly addressed in detail...

To start I have a totaled 99 SS Camaro in my back yard bent frame and body and some parts ripped out of it but its just chillin there...

My Baby is an 89 IROC Camaro and I want to put the LS1 into it. So here are a few questions.

1) I understand that the motor and tranny will fit but how much work will it take?

2) I know that its gonna need a few things like higher flow fuel pump and etc but can you list what all needs to be accounted for other than motor and tranny and can I use the ones I pull from the 99?

3) My rear end is old and I would like to put the 99 rear end in I know its not much different but its newer and just wanted to make sure it will fit.

4) What parts can not be used from the 99 and will need to be bought new for this swap?

Thanks in advance,

I believe most of your original questions are answered in the LS1 swap sticky.

The additional cost of an LS2 swap would be the additional cost of buying the LS2 stuff vs. what you already have in the '99.
