Will an LT1 timing cover boolt stright on a L98 TPI motor?

Wanting to change to sequential injection on my 350m tpi, bought an aftermarket fuel/ignition ecu, but need to run a cam sensor to do it....
so can i just bolt on the l1 timing cover with the cam sensor or do i need to do heavy modding, or is there an easier way?

No, the cover is different between an L98 and LT1

The L98 (traditional SBC) doesn't use a cam sensor. Not sure on how you would make that work.

Vortec truck distributors use a single tooth sensor and being driven off the cam it gives accurate cam locations. Since the cam sensor is only used to determine cycle, this should work

And actaully now that I think about it, the LT1 doesn't have a cam sensor either, the 96-97 has a crank sensor.

I would look in the ECM section and see what guys are doing, I remember something about using a van PCM and some have gotten the LS1 PCM to work with the TPI.
