Possible steampipe solution.
Possible steampipe solution.
These are some stock LT1 radiator hoses. If u look at the bottom one it has a pipe fitting with a nipple and a small hose on it. I talked to the guy and supposidly its for Throttle body coolant bypass line.

I was wondering if I can use the hose. (I am sure I will have to get longer rubber hoses to go on the ends) and use that small rubber hose to connect to the steam pipe on the LS1?
My only conceren in coolant getting into the steam pipe or would there be enough preasure that while running steam will escape into the radiator hose and while engine in not running ?

I know this horse has been beat to death more than a million times.
But any of the experts here think whaty I am thinking will work.
I dont know if rad fluid will flow into the steam pipe and cause problems.

Mine is hooked into the heater core hose...I hope it doesn't cause problems to have it hooked into a rad hose 0.o
