Engine: 433 sbf + turbos
Transmission: powerglide
Axle/Gears: fab9, 3.50
Will flipped shorty headers work on an LS1 3rd gen?
Anyone ever tried? I'm thinking of building something pretty crazy and trying to do my research now...

SBC headers will not fit a LS1 no matter how you turn them
If you mean shorty LS1 headers on a LS1, sure, they can be oriented any direction much like a you can on a SBC. Engine bay clearance is a premium and without knowing the brand of shorty, or recalling anyone doing a turbo LS1 with inverted shortys. It becomes difficult to answer
