My motor runs now, when to do first oil change?

I put break-in oil in the block before I started it. And I've done about 10 or so short starts. I haven't let it run for more than 10 seconds or so, mainly because it's getting late and don't want to **** off the neighbors.

Now, my tuner cannot get a good wideband tune on it until I get the exhaust done. So, for now it is running rich. I obviously don't want to be driving it any long amounts of time with it being rich, but I will have to drive it up onto the trailer for the trip to the exhaust shop. So my question is, when should I do the first oil change? I was thinking about maybe driving it around the block a few times for a couple of minutes, then changing the oil, and then taking it to the shop. They say to drive it about 50 miles or maybe a little less before doing the first oil change, but with it running so rich I don't want to risk anything. Ideas?

I'm no expert, but I was always told rich is better than lean. Rich just fouls plugs, lean blows holes in pistons. But on a fresh build, not sure if there's any other ramnifications to running rich.

put it on the dyno and knock it out. After a few pulls the rings will seat, motor will sound different and then continue tuning it. Change the oil after they seat and continue on your way. Don't start it around the block for weeks, all that extra fuel will wash down the cylinder walls.

So I should just drive it through the neighborhood and run it hard a few times, then change the oil?

Just pull it on the trailer.
Go get your exhaust done.
Go dyno tune it.
Drive it home.
Change your oil.

put it on the trailer, go get the exhaust done, trailer it to the dyno shop and let them tune it up, doing the WOT pulls first to seat the rings. Change the oil and you're done. Cut open the filter and look for anything out of the ordinary.
