Which starter to use...

i did a LT1 swap with a T5 and stock replacement clutch..which starter should i use? the LT1 or my Factory 305 one? i know the LT1 will bolt right up but will it work ok with my 5 speed flywheel?

Both interchange. The LT1 is a stock ministarter though

8lbs vs 28lbs....

go with the lt1. Much easier to hold in place and bolt back in then the one that came with the car.

I've used both with no issues

however, I prefer the lt1 starter due to the weight and design

Are you using a 153 or 168 tooth flywheel? Not sure if it matters or not.
