Re: lq9

Sounds similar to my original plans. Then I found out my 62k mile motor had 130k miles, so now it's rebuild, stroker kit, blah blah blah, $$$$$$, need a 2nd job, etc.

Re: lq9

yeah, i am overseas right now so i do not have the luxury of taking a tour of some of my personal favorite junk yards.

oh well.. it is worth it to me. ill prob keep the 305 for a paper weight.. nah, ill do a backyard engineering build on it and see if i can get her to crank 300 horse on junk parts and put her in a kit car or somethin.

wrote out some of the parts i need cause i was bored and before i knew it i was four pages in with all the little knick knack bullcrap that goes along with a complete restoration.

its really gonna hurt when i get the bill from the body shop!!

Re: lq9

Jamex lowering springs combined with a crapload of stereo equipment in the back! Unfortunately, that company no longer sells in the US. I've got one spare set of springs, and after those sack out, I'll have to come up with a new plan. Hopefully by then Bell Tech will be making their spindles again, because I'd rather go that route to keep my suspension geometry more correct.
