LQ4 questions

LQ4 questions

So the lq4 is the same as the ls1? but the intake and accessories are diff? so if i wanted to i could buy the LQ4 and replace the intake and have a ls2? 6.0? help me out i am a noob to this and have read bout every thread but still am not one hundred percent sure that i am reading this right thanks

All LSx engines are in the same family, much like the SBCs

Swapping a car intake onto the LQ4, yeilds a LQ4 with a car intake. LS1 is the common designation for all swapped engines even though they really carry some other name. EX: my 5.3 is in full LS1 trim, but is really a LM7 underneath everything

FYI, LS2 is GEN IV. Quite a few differences with GEN III and GEN IV, but most of the parts still interchange
